Definition of education
in a broader sense of education are all experiences of life in various spheres of influence, positive for individual development that lasted a lifetime. Education ongoing since early childhood continue until at further education level even until the end of life. By Rupert S. Logde in Syarifudin (2003) in the broad sense of education lasts for anyone, anytime, and anywhere. Education is not limited to persekolah (schooling) only, even education lasts from birth until the end of life. Education takes place within the family, school, and community environments.
Education in the narrow sense is the education that took place in a particular school or educational institution required deliberate. Education takes the form of learning activity and programmed, planned and formal.
The goal of education includes four things: 1) Personal Development, both asppek physical, mental, moral, or religious. 2) social guidance that is to become a member of society and good citizens and educated. 3) The need to acquire skills. 4) The ability of lifelong learning. (Syarifudin, 2003) In the Law on National Education System (2003) stated that "Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere and the learning process so that learners actively developing seta potential for him to have the power of spiritual, religious, self-control, intelligence, noble, and necessary skills themselves, society, nation and state. "components that must exist in education are as follows:
• The purpose of education is one component of the formulation of education about the capabilities that must be achieved pesreta educates and serves as giving direction to all educational activities.
• Learners or students is subject to students who have karakteristek own or have the potential to be developed.
• Educators is a teacher who is responsible for the implementation of education or teaching and learning activities.
• Curriculum is material that has been planned that serves as a guide or tool to achieve educational goals and assist in the preparation of teachers to teach.
• Educational Facilities infrastructure is needed by learners to process learning activities and to facilitate the conduct of education.
• Interaction edikatif is reciprocal communication between learners and educators (teachers) who can achieve educational goals.
